In 2009, working alongside the Mr. Luz Leiva, Luichupucro Project under, or better known as " TOURISM ASSOCIATION OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IN THE MANNER OF LIVING, BIRDING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION" of today we will quote a small excerpt from this:
Civil Association for the Rescue Ecosystem of Cajamarca (APREC), has been worth hummingbird habitat Ventigris Comet, a species of endangered bird, which covers about four square kilometers and also includes the barrel of Sangal (river Chonta) and shrub species and native forest, which is being destroyed by the action of small farmers Luichupucro low, Sangal Low and Laurel Valley.

This association has been responsible for preparing the material and social conditions to become tourist attraction both habitat Ventigris Comet Hummingbird, and the community of Luichupucro under preparation and also the rural tourist guide.
